When asked to write freely
one may find it difficult
because really, what can you use to rhyme with difficult?
As a lover of language I might

Jabberwocky? Really though, which guy
decided to say, “oh yeah, i’ll create a Jabberwocky.”
oh yeah. whoops.
Let’s run with fake creatures for a second, like
the care bears. i care about bears. that’s what counts right?
I like the care bears but I hate trolls. Anything you

Oh yeah, bears.
Dwight talks a big game about bears. Always taking shots at Jim, he’s like Kendrick Lamar AKA-the-one-who-gave-you-that-scar. Wait. Aren’t the words AKA-Benz’s-to-me-just-a-car?
Oh well, close enough. Voldemort. Tom Marvolo Riddle
Anagram but not an Animagus.

The scarf is blue like their uniform, but also blue like the ocean. The Pacific Ocean.

Everything is hanging on the one thing that has yet to change. I’m still waiting for the last chip to fall into place.
Until then…. I’m in limbo
Attending school at UCR in the summertime, one must endure many locals entering the library rapping self-acclaimed albums until security escorts them out, homeless men watching porn next to you while typing an essay, and 105+ degree weather. Gotta love the hood
seriously. Summer school sucked last year.
Today was great! We went to Hartford and did a scavenger hunt and totally won. DUH. Of course we did. I’ll post pictures when I find the little thingy that connects to my laptop to stick in my camera card.
It was awesome seeing the city and potential places to live. I don’t have a job yet, but it’s always good to look around and check out our options.
I’m definitely living with Jenelle, we’ve already decided this. Sweet.
I miss my California friends :(. It’s a huge change. I miss being able to hang out and stuff, but I’m so busy that I can’t have time to really think about it.
More photos to come.
At the end of this era of life

but you don’t. It’s just another phase
where you say you’re “trying to find yourself.”
I found myself at the middle of a book
in the torn and weathered pages close to the spine
with haggard threads and bleeding words.
I found myself in between the and —
